RPJ Helping Hands started off as a loving dedication by Pat to her late husband (Rodney Peter Junior), thus helping Pat to transform her pain and grief by positively helping those in Need.
RPJ Helping Hands was formally registered as a South African charity in May 2017. We have no formal funding or corporate sponsors – Manna Fund, our family and friends help us to provide our services with love.
We are a family of volunteers who selflessly serve with love and humility.
RPJ Helping Hands focuses on feeding a hot meal to the homeless and hungry in the Cape Town CBD area. Were currently feeding over 40 000 meals per annum.
These meals have become a dependency for many in these desperate times of unemployment and poverty. Our feeding program is conducted with respect and dignity allowing us to engage with many of the people we serve, reminding them that there is hope.
The desperation on their faces as they enter, and the pure heartfelt gratitude when they leave brings joy to our hearts, to us this is Love in Action. Our Focus is feeding and bringing comfort to the hungry, by serving with love and humility, we never turn anyone away.
Our Ethos is Love All Serve All
